Cobra is a concept created with great attention to functionality: her flybridge essentially occupies the whole upper deck, being 3 to 4 times larger than a typical flybridge on a traditional boat. The 15 meter swimming pool is right above the saloon. Along with the sky lounge it is supported by a massive structure of an elevator and a spiral staircase

Cobra’s secret ingredient is a gigantic beach club that can be easily transformed into a garage
Cobra offers you a unique mix of comfort and luxury: a helipad bridges the gap between the land and the sea, enabling easy access to the most exotic destinations

Cobra is 55 meters long with the beam of 9 meters. Her gross tonnage is under 65 tonnes that helps you avoid additional registration paperwork. A large fuel tank provides for the range of 6.000 to 8.000 miles at the average 12 knots, the maximum Cobra speed being 16 knots.

The helipad aboard Cobra occupies the area of up to 20 square meters and is ready to take loads of up to 700 kg, thus being a perfect match for such helicopters as Robinson R44 and Bell

A 55-meter Cobra concept by Bering Yachts pushes the design envelope while retaining the US brand’s signature focus on functionality and superior design.

The Cobra is a new type of an explorer vessel based on a steel hull that can be adapted to various sizes. The outstanding feature is that Cobra has an upper deck entirely devoted to open-air entertaining, dining, and partying – there is enough open space for anything.
The main feature of the upper deck is a huge oval swimming pool forward, which has a transparent bottom positioned directly above the main salon below. The touch-and-go helipad is big enough to take twin-engine helicopters or even passenger drones. A cozy observation ‘nest’ for private, panoramic relaxation is placed in the bow.

A design highlight is a semi-circular wheelhouse on the flybridge that is cantilevered over the upper deck. Behind the wheelhouse is a sky lounge and bar with glass walls and ceiling for outstanding panoramic views.

An elevator and spiral staircase span four deck levels. On the main deck, there is a principal salon and a master stateroom with two fixed balconies. The lower deck comprises four en-suite guest suites and an accommodation for the crew.

The enormous beach club/tender garage in the stern has fold-down platforms on both sides that extend the beam to 12 meters. When the tenders are deployed, the area is transformed into a water-level beach area with ceiling heights of almost 4 meters and room to take a car or amphibious vehicle.

At 55 meters in length, Cobra has a maximum beam of 9,50 meters and is rated below 500GT. The reverse bow is a dynamic design feature, which increases the waterline length for faster hull speeds. The yacht can have a hybrid propulsion package. Cobra can build up a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots. At cruising speed, it will have an oceanic range of 6,000 nautical miles.
Bering Yachts is renowned for its full-displacement, steel-hulled yachts that combine the autonomy and rugged construction of explorers with the spacious comfort of modern superyachts. Cobra is a daring concept that takes that philosophy to its next-generation conclusion.
