A splendid B80 launched!

An unprecedented week in Bering Yachts’ history started with the launch of the Bering 80 yacht. The rarity of this event is that it will be followed by two more launches scheduled within days of one another. Three boats set afloat within seven days – one might wonder if any boat builder has ever accomplished anything like that.

Launched in our Antalya shipyard, this under-24-meter explorer has several features worth mentioning. First, it has many exterior and interior spaces, ready to welcome and comfortably accommodate 10 guests and 5 crew. Second, a little sporty twist: the upper deck’s skylounge with a gym, hammam, and lounge area. Light colors, distinctive Bering design, and extensive use of natural materials give B80, our second hull of this size, a modern and elegant marine look.

With a 23.85 load line length, this graceful four-decker has an 8.10-meter beam and an impressive 220 tons of displacement. In addition to a steel hull, over 5,000 nautical miles of non-stop range makes the B80 capable of worry-free crossing of any ocean, making it a true expedition yacht. Comfort for the guests and crew accommodation is assured by having 4 spacious guest cabins, a crew mess, and cabins built using the same materials as the guests’ rooms on the lower deck. A thoroughly insulated engine room also located at the lower deck will produce plenty of power to propel the yacht to 8.5 knots of cruise speed and keep quiet, even reaching 10.5 knots of maximum speed.

The voluminous main deck features a master stateroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a main galley, a roomy and comfortable saloon, and a cockpit with a table for 10 guests. A large lift-up and rotation TV system is located outside, blending smoothly with the spacious cockpit.

The chillout zone with a sunbed at the upper deck’s bow is adjacent to the captain’s quarters and a pilot house. The boat deck aft with the deckchairs can also be used as a tender storage area.

The flybridge, with a captain’s chair, a large table, two settees with a wet bar, a grill, and an outside lift-up and rotation TV system with plenty of sunbeds, adds to this deck’s relaxing ambiance.

Bering Yachts has two very similar models, B80 and B88, which are different in some details and combined into the B88 model line. One more B80 and two B88 are currently being built at different stages of construction.

Two more boats will be set afloat in the first week of June; do not miss our next launch!
