Bering 130: Redefining the 40-Meter Explorer

An Entirely New Vision in Superyacht Exploration

The Bering 130 represents a bold new chapter in our Superyacht division — a 130-foot (40-meter) steel explorer that delivers unprecedented capability, space, and versatility in its class.

Developed in collaboration with Valentin Design (exterior) and Aberton Yachts (naval architecture), the B130 introduces an innovative four-deck layout that sets a new standard for expedition superyachts.

Architecture Without Compromise

What truly distinguishes the Bering 130 is its groundbreaking deck plan architecture — genuinely without parallel in the 40-meter category. Every square meter has been purposefully designed to maximize both livability and expedition functionality.

The result is a vessel that feels significantly larger than its LOA suggests, with spatial efficiency and flow that simply doesn’t exist in comparable yachts currently on the market.

Flexible Configuration: Pleasure or Charter

The B130 is offered in two distinct configurations to suit your intended use:

Pleasure Class

  • 5 guest staterooms + dedicated owner’s deck
  • Emphasis on private family cruising
  • Optimized crew of 7

Charter Class

  • 6 guest staterooms + owner’s accommodation
  • Commercial charter-ready layout
  • Full crew complement of 9

Both configurations feature a VIP suite on the main deck with private balcony — a rare feature at this size that delivers the privacy and luxury typically found only on far larger vessels.

The Asymmetric Advantage

The main deck asymmetric salon represents a significant departure from conventional design. By eliminating the traditional starboard side deck, we’ve gained exceptional interior volume — creating a square, inviting social space that rivals yachts 10 meters longer.

This bold design choice reflects our philosophy: function drives form, not the other way around.

Built for True Autonomy

Extended range cruising demands more than just fuel capacity. The Bering 130 has been engineered from the keel up for genuine self-sufficiency:

Range: 5,000+ nautical miles at cruising speed

Provisions Capacity:

  • Extensive dedicated cold storage rooms
  • Multiple walk-in refrigerators and freezers
  • Strategically planned provisions storage throughout
  • Capacity for weeks of autonomous operation

We designed the entire vessel around long-range autonomy. Every system, every space, every detail supports extended passages far from supply.

Outdoor Living Redefined

Beach Club with Pool

The expansive beach club features an integrated swimming pool and transforms into a waterside sanctuary—whether you’re anchored in the tropics or exploring high latitudes.

Folding Terraces

Hydraulic fold-down terraces extend the usable outdoor space dramatically, creating al fresco living areas that bring you closer to the water while maintaining the yacht’s efficient cruising profile.

Owner’s Deck: Your Private Retreat

The dedicated owner’s deck offers a level of privacy and luxury rarely achieved at 40 meters:

  • Full-beam owner’s suite with private balcony
  • Separate study or lounge area
  • Direct access to upper deck outdoor spaces
  • Complete isolation from guest accommodations

This isn’t just a master stateroom—it’s a private residence at sea.
