Successful launch of Veda, a Bering 80

We are proud to announce the successful launch of the Bering 80, Veda.

The full displacement steel yacht is currently the flagship of the Bering fleet and the fourth vessel in the Expedition Class series. The boat is the heaviest in her class, displacing over 470,000 pounds and has a fuel capacity of over 10,000 gallons.

With a masculine exterior in blue/gray, this striking Bering is complemented by a classic rich Makore wood interior enhanced with marble, granite and handcrafted furniture.

Spacious, elegant and practical, the Bering 80’s massive 25-foot 8-inch beam gives her immense amount of onboard space and the ability to comfortably accommodate eight guests across her four luxurious staterooms, all with en-suite heads.

Veda is powered by twin Cummins QSM-11, 350 hp engines, has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at a speed of 9 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 12 knots.

At this time, there are 5 B80 hulls – one launched and four in construction. The popularity of this model can be easily explained – B80 is the longest available boat that has an under-24-meter load line. We have decided to discontinue this model, and now offer our customers a B88 hull instead. This improvement in size has not changed the main advantage of this boat – she still has an under-24-meter load line length. With other performance indicators, such as displacement and range, improved, this updated model allows the owner to have more comfort and luxury in the yacht that still has a very comfortable size.
