Bering Yachts’ Europe Branch Signs Contract for First Hull of Bering 110

Bering Yachts’ Europe branch has signed a contract for the construction of the first hull of its all-new Bering 110 model, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of explorer superyachts. This 33-meter vessel, developed in collaboration with renowned Red Yacht Design, represents a fresh approach to the explorer category, seamlessly blending rugged expedition capability with refined superyacht sophistication.

A New Standard in Explorer Superyachts

The Bering 110 emerges as the latest evolution in Bering’s superyacht line, prioritizing extended autonomy and real-world usability without compromise. Built with a full-displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the vessel is engineered to handle demanding voyages across the world’s oceans.

Powered by twin engines, the B110 achieves a comfortable cruising speed of 10.5 knots and a top speed of 13 knots under half load. Her standout feature is an impressive range of 5,000 nautical miles, made possible by a substantial 47,000-liter fuel tank and 6,500 liters of fresh water storage. This capability ensures complete self-sufficiency for up to four weeks, accommodating 10 guests and 5 crew members in comfort.

This yacht is perfect for extended passages or cozy family getaways, offering private spaces for relaxation, work, study, or lively parties — without compromising on comfort or amenities,” said Alexei Mikhailov, founder of Bering Yachts. “It’s built for adventurers who demand both freedom and luxury.”

Technical Excellence Meets Practical Design

At 299 gross tons with an 8.2-meter beam, the Bering 110’s shallow 2.4-meter draft provides access to secluded bays and anchorages that remain off-limits to deeper-draft vessels. Her displacement hull design delivers the stability essential for safe open-ocean passages, while maintaining the fuel efficiency that defines the Bering experience.

Innovative Interior Layout

The Bering 110’s interior showcases thoughtful design choices that maximize both space and functionality. The asymmetrical salon gains an extra meter of width by eliminating the starboard sidewalk, creating a square, inviting space that rivals yachts in a larger size category — ideal for relaxed gatherings or formal entertaining.

The main deck features a logical flow from a forward galley to a classic owner’s suite, with four spacious guest staterooms situated on the lower deck and dedicated crew quarters forward. The expansive flybridge serves as an entertainment hub, complete with a Jacuzzi and bar, while the open boat deck accommodates flexible, foldable furniture for maximum versatility.

The innovative beach club, enhanced by a skylight, offers a versatile expanse housing a well-equipped gym, sauna, comfortable resting area, and ample storage for water toys and adventure gear. Wide, easily navigable spaces ensure seamless movement throughout.

The oversized cockpit stands out as an exceptional outdoor living area, featuring generous seating, a table accommodating 12 guests, a full bar, and plenty of space for the family dinners or celebrations. Extensive storage solutions, including a well-appointed galley on the main deck and a lower-deck storage room with a walk-in refrigerator/freezer, dual washer-dryer sets, and extensive cabinetry, support truly limitless voyages in comfort.

Design Philosophy

“With the Bering 110, we aimed to merge the bold spirit of exploration with the elegance of a superyacht,” said Fatih Sürekli, Managing Director of Red Yacht Design. “She’s built to go anywhere while offering the warmth of a true home at sea.”

The collaboration between Bering Yachts and Red Yacht Design has produced a vessel that represents as a smart crossover: expedition toughness meets superyacht finesse. Economical to operate and compact at 300 gross tons, she’s equally suited for private family escapes or charter operations, capable of reaching the world’s most remote horizons with confidence.

Market Confidence and Future Outlook

The signing of this first hull contract signals strong market confidence in Bering’s approach to explorer superyacht design and production. As demand grows for vessels that combine genuine go-anywhere capability with luxurious accommodations, Bering Yachts continues to position itself as the go-to builder for discerning owners who refuse to compromise on either functionality or comfort.
