A new B72 keel is laid

Bering Yachts has laid a keel for a new B72 yacht at its shipyard in Antalya, Türkiye. At 22.18 meters, she will have the largest size of a boat built by Bering to be comfortable owner-operated. Another feature of this vessel is that she is engineered and will be constructed by commercial-class standards, making her a great boat not only for family fun but also for chartering. B72 is going to be a very versatile, multipurpose explorer.

Bering engineers have put a lot into this yacht to make sure the noise and vibration are reduced to the absolute minimum. The thick metal of the bulkheads, additional insulation, box-in-the-box technology for the interiors, and other solutions have turned the B72 into a very quiet vessel. She will also be very environmentally friendly by consuming roughly 3 liters of fuel per nautical mile at 8 knots. With 6.5-7 feet of draft, this ocean-going creature will be capable of bringing you to any point on the planet reachable by a boat.

Arctic, Antarctic, or any location will be accessible and safe to reach. An 8-millimeter-thick hull will withstand any ice or other floating obstacles. B72 is not only very capable, it also will give you comfort. Full displacement provides you storage for everything, from food items to water toys, from a year-round wardrobe to fishing paraphernalia, and so on. It all will travel with you to ensure you have everything you might need within reach. There are also plenty of amenities and equipment for cooking, sports, and leisure. No matter where you go on this boat, you will have space, you will feel empowered by how much there is onboard.

The boat is being built for the American owners, who were at the ceremony along with Bering Yachts’ founder Alexei Mikhailov, company partners, and staff. A new Bering 72 will be a true representation of Bering’s dedication to safety, comfort, and capability. Being among the most capable boats in her class, Bering 72 is in the class of her own.
