Bering Yachts is pleased to announce the signing of the contract for the second hull of the Bering 165 — the flagship of the company’s Superyacht division.
The contract was signed with a client from Singapore, marking the second contract for the model in 2026, following the first hull signed in January and the keel laying ceremony held on March 30. This is not the first client from the region for Bering Yachts, and the company continues its successful expansion in the Asian explorer superyacht market.
The rapid progression from the first contract to the second clearly demonstrates the strong market confidence in the Bering 165 model. Just months after its official introduction, the model has already established itself as one of the most compelling explorer superyachts in the sub-500 GT segment.
At 50 metres LOA with a 9-meter beam and 499 GT, the Bering 165 was conceived as a sophisticated transoceanic superyacht that combines Bering’s legendary steel explorer DNA with refined luxury and exceptional entertaining capabilities. Developed in close collaboration with Valentin Design, she features a highly intelligent five-deck layout that offers significantly more volume and comfort than her length suggests, while fully retaining long-range ocean-crossing ability.
“We are truly delighted to see the results of our collaboration on the Bering 165 starting to show this year. This is already the second hull signed in early 2026. We’re so excited to see both yachts on the water.”
— Valentin Design team
This second hull has been further customised to the client’s specific vision. The yacht has been designed as a true entertaining platform, featuring a spacious Aft part of the Main Deck with a pool of over 20 m², two whirlpool tubs (one seamlessly integrated with the pool and another in the forward section). An enclosed garage for tenders and water toys is thoughtfully located on the Lower Deck beneath the Main Deck, ensuring the equipment does not interfere with guests’ enjoyment of the pool area. The Main Deck also includes an exceptional sound system with premium karaoke facilities. A specious gym with panoramic sea views has been incorporated on the Main Deck for daily training sessions. The generous lazarette area is specially equipped to store diving and snorkelling equipment.
One of the standout features is that the pool floor can be raised within the lifting system creating a large open-air dance floor. It gives an option to transform daytime pool parties into evening nightclub experiences under the stars. The pool can be filled with either fresh or seawater.
Despite the enhanced entertainment focus, the Bering 165 remains a true explorer at heart. With a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles, extensive storage, and full self-sufficiency for weeks at sea, she perfectly embodies the Bering DNA of capability, reliability, and independence.
“We are proud to see the Bering 165 already proving itself as one of the strongest explorer yachts in the sub-500 GT class — exactly as we envisioned,” noted the Bering’s Superyacht division team. “This second contract in such a short time confirms that the model is resonating strongly with today’s superyacht clients who seek both serious long-range capability and exceptional onboard lifestyle experiences.”
The keel laying for the second hull is scheduled within the next few weeks.
