Bering Yachts has reached another important milestone in its Superyacht division with the keel laying ceremony for the second hull of the Bering 165.
The ceremony marks the official start of construction on the second unit of the 50-metre flagship explorer superyacht, following the rapid signing of the contract with a client represented by Singapore-based Absolute Yacht Services Pte Ltd — the second hull sold in 2026. This swift progression demonstrates exceptionally strong market confidence in the model.
At 50 meters LOA with a 9-meter beam and 499 GT, the Bering 165 was created to redefine the possibilities of a true transoceanic explorer superyacht. Developed in close collaboration with Swiss studio Valentin Design for exterior styling, she features a sophisticated five-deck layout that offers significantly more volume and comfort than her length suggests, while maintaining full ocean-crossing capability and the signature reliability of Bering Yachts.
The second hull has been customised to the owner’s specific vision, transforming the yacht into a genuine entertaining platform. Key features include a spacious aft area on the main deck with a swimming pool of over 20 m², two whirlpool tubs, and an enclosed garage for tenders and water toys on the lower deck.
Additional highlights include a premium sound system with karaoke facilities, a spacious gym with panoramic sea views, and a well-equipped lazarette for diving and snorkelling equipment.
The interiors of the second hull have been created by Red Yacht Design studio, carefully tailored to the owner’s personal vision. Their concept invites one to fully immerse into the yacht’s living spaces, where every detail is designed to deliver a profound sense of comfort and serenity.
“Bering 165 is honestly one of the most exciting projects we have started so far. From the beginning, we felt that this yacht should have a very special atmosphere, not only beautiful interiors. The client cares a lot about lighting and entertainment, and this is something I really enjoy as a designer, because it changes the whole feeling of a space.
We are designing the interiors to feel elegant, comfortable and alive, a yacht that can be calm and private when needed, but also full of energy when the owner wants to enjoy time on board with family and friends.” — Cana Gokhan, Red Yacht Design
“This second hull is a powerful confirmation that the Bering 165 has struck the right balance between serious explorer capability and contemporary superyacht lifestyle,” noted the Bering Superyacht division team.
The rapid sale of the first two hulls in such a short time confirms that the Bering 165 is strongly resonating with today’s superyacht clients who seek both long-range independence and exceptional onboard experiences.
Construction of the first two hulls of the Bering 165 is now actively underway. The shipyard is already in advanced negotiations with several additional clients for this model, as strong interest in the Bering 165 continues to grow rapidly across both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
