At Bering Yachts, we understand that each yacht reflects its owner’s values, priorities, and aesthetics. Interior design plays a crucial role in this reflection, and according to a UK study, furniture production in yacht manufacturing is often the second major cost factor after engine equipment. Given the labor and skill required, it’s no surprise that furniture manufacturing is a significant expenditure in yacht construction.

Utilizing the most advanced technology, Bering Yachts favors the computerized method of furniture construction. We create detailed 3D models and present an electronic layout version to the client. Upon approval, the project immediately goes into production. This modeling process saves time and ensures that the furniture production aligns seamlessly with the boat construction, guaranteeing a perfect fit and timely installation.

Bering Yachts boasts a large warehouse dedicated solely to furniture production. Nearly 100 Bering employees craft furniture and other design features like parquet flooring and wall-mounted panels. 

To support these modern naval aesthetics, Bering Yachts uses high-quality materials like teakwood, walnut, oak, and beech, along with composite materials and marine-grade plywood. These materials are chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their lightweight, durability, and safety. They comply with International Maritime Organization (IMO) guidelines, meeting stringent safety standards such as those outlined in Chapter II-2 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS 1974), and the ‘Fire Test Procedures 2010’ (FTP).

Candidates undergo a rigorous selection process to join our team of 10 project designers, 40 production workers, 30 assembly specialists, and 10 support staff. Our furniture production staff is experienced, knowledgeable, efficient, and detail-oriented. The marine furniture and furnishings crafted by Bering Yachts are integral to our yachts’ design, comfort, and functionality, adding unique style and luxury to each onboard space.
