New built Bering 70

Bering Yachts has started construction of a new Bering 70 in Antalya, Turkey. She has been designed from the keel up to be a superb coastal cruiser by Scott Blee, of the preeminent SABDES Yacht Design in Australia.

The new B70 will feature a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. A single-level pilothouse and slightly reverse-raked bow will give off a strong sense of a patrol boat tightly wrapped in a fashionable gun-metal gray hull. The absence of a large overhanging bow will reduce the reserve buoyancy that creates the lift/pitch in an approaching wave.

Her owners opted for a minimalist interior design with clean, crisp lines and light-colored wood throughout the boat. She will feature three en-suite staterooms plus an additional quarters for crew.

As every boat builder has a long history, Bering Yachts has models that are popular among our clients and followers. One of these models is the B70. Two of these hulls we launched not that long ago: Ra has been set to sail in 2019 and Levanna – in 2022. Since then, we have been collecting feedback from the owners, and have improved this model by adding features that made B70-family boats larger and better capable for coastal cruises. As we have discontinued building 70-foot models, the improved B78, one of which is currently under construction, became a better replacement for this popular yacht.
