Bering Yachts YouTube channel now has a new chapter discussing additional options we offer to our customers. Like everything else, it will be a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point description of all the features available for different Bering models. The first episode is dedicated to 3D mapping technology.
Profiling objects in three dimensions to map them in the real world using high-definition projectors has been introduced previously. However, recent technological advancements have made this technology cheaper, widely available, and more environmentally friendly. Given all this, the Bering Yachts team decided to add 3D mapping to the list of offered options.
Further developed by our 3D mapping project team, this technology can now be installed on all Bering boats. Using simple LED projectors, any cabins or other space on the yacht can be transferred into any scenery you desire. Chosen from pre-set visuals or developed by the AI by request as you go, this technology will seamlessly transfer you to the misty mountains or sunburned deserts, enchanted forests or bluegrass fields, to a galaxy far, far away, and so much more… It is a convenient, easy-to-use solution that allows the advanced 3D reality to work with a simple button push.
3D mapping can have different applications, from entertainment to creating a relaxing vibe; it can be used as an additional mooring or docking assistant by translating live videos from the overboard cameras. Using LED reduces spending on costly light bulbs, ensures low electricity consumption, and creates little noise or overheating. Put it on your ceiling, walls, floor, or windows – modern equipment is so compact you will not even notice it.
As this is a new technology in yacht building, this is the first time we have seen something like this installed on other boats, so we are still thinking about how it can be applied and used.
