Bering Yachts continues expanding its catamaran series by selling three new BC60 units, all to be constructed at the company’s shipyard in Burgas, Bulgaria. These three new orders come in addition to three other catamarans currently under construction: two more BC60s and one BC80.
This milestone highlights Bering’s ability to manage complex, multi-vessel builds simultaneously and marks a significant moment for its European operations. The BC60’s growing popularity among global clients is driven by its impressive autonomy, performance, and layout flexibility.
The BC60 is a full-aluminum, long-range expedition catamaran built for extended cruising in diverse climates and conditions. Thanks to its shallow draft, high fuel capacity, and efficient displacement hull, the BC60 performs equally well in tropical waters and higher latitudes.
Each BC60 offers a versatile layout designed for comfort and functionality. The standard configuration includes:
Depending on operational needs, owners may also convert the forward guest cabin into an additional crew cabin.
All three new BC60 catamarans will be built at Bering Shipyard Bulgaria, located on the Black Sea coast in Burgas. Fully operational since 2023, this modern facility benefits from its EU location, providing direct access to European supply chains and key markets.
“These three new projects represent an important step forward for our team in Bulgaria,” said Aleksei Mikhailov, CEO & Founder of Bering Yachts. “We’re proud to see the shipyard growing and taking on increasingly ambitious projects, with strong interest from clients across the globe.”
